Disaster Volunteer Training

If a disaster strikes in Marathon County, will you be ready to help? Join United Way Volunteer Connection for a program that will train you to staff a Volunteer Reception Center.  Many hands are needed to place community volunteers in useful volunteer positions. The first session will give you an overview of VRC operations and roles. The second session will be a Hands-On exercise! Please be a part by attending both sessions at the United Way Offices ( 705 S. 24th Ave. Ste. 400B) on Monday, April 25, from 5:30-7:30 pm and again Monday, May 2  from 5:30-7:30 pm. Contact United Way Volunteer Connection at 715-298-5722 or mkmoua@unitedwaymc.org  to register or learn more about disaster volunteering.
