Donate Children's Books

Mother Reading to ChildUnited Way Volunteer Connection and Ready to Read are partnering to place bookshelves in various locations across the community to increase the availability of reading materials at home. Children would be encouraged to select a free book to take home and keep and read with their parents or siblings.  Bookshelves have been constructed and will be painted by volunteers on June 21, the national Day of Action.

We are also accepting new or gently used children's books to keep the shelves well stocked. You can help by donating books that you are no longer using, or by purchasing new books. Donations can be dropped off at our office during regular business hours.  Or, if it's more convenient for you to make a cash donation to this project, you can do that on-line and we will do the shopping for you.
