On Tuesday, May 16, more than 400 volunteers came together for the third annual SmackHunger and Say Cheese Event sponsored by Emerging Leaders. They turned the ice hockey rink at Marathon Park into a food assembly plant and in a few hours assembled over 90,000 servings of mac & cheese, tomato basil pasta and oatmeal. The meal packages were distributed to local food pantries by the Marathon County Hunger Coalition. A full gallery of photos is available on our website.
