United Way CommUnity Fest is coming up fast. Mark your calendar for September 23 and make plans now to participate in this fun-filled, family event. There's four ways to get involved.
1. Need a teambuilding event that also supports those less fortunate? Design and build a food sculpture in the United We Can competition, and all of the items you use in your construction will be donated to the Marathon County Hunger Coalition and be distributed to local pantries. You can learn more on our website. If your team is already working on your sculpture, please be sure to register your team today.
2. Local non-profits will also be providing crafts, games and activities for kids at CommUnity Fest. If you want to host an activity booth, please register on-line as soon as possible.
3. Does your company have a unique vehicle that kids might like to see up close and personal? Join our Big Trucks & Trailers event. Last year we had a semi, tractors and more. Contact Sue Haupt if you are interested in learning more about this part of the event.
4. Mark your calendar and plan to bring your kids out for a great time on September 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
