Raise Great Kids Day 2018

On August 9, twelve local organizations participated in Raise Great Kids Day. Held in partnership with Wausau Events and Marketplace Thursdays on the 400 Block, this event brought together Early Years Coalition partners and organizations involved with kids and families in our community. Free books, crafts, games, giveaways, music, story-times and more were all part of the day. This increased awareness of the Early Years Coalition’s initiative of “Talk. Sing. Read. Play. Every Child. Every Day.” Partner organizations shared information about local resources for children and families and over 400 information bags were handed out to attendees.
