Grab your rake and make a difference!
Join us on October 27 for Make a Difference Day 2018. United Way Volunteer Connection's raking project is our biggest volunteer effort of the year. Help our elderly and disabled neighbors take care of fall yard clean up by raking leaves. Corporate groups, school groups, families or individuals are all welcome. Those interested in raking should sign up in advance, or come to First United Methodist Church between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. for a yard assignment.
Not able to rake, but want to help? We will be collecting non-perishable food for local pantries, toiletries to be distributed via the Workplace Volunteer Council's Back to Basics projects, and new or gently used winter outwear for children though adult sizes to be distributed by the Kiwanis. Bring your donations to First United Methodist Church between 8:30 a.m. and 11: 30 a.m.
