10th Annual Power of the Purse Raises Record Amount

On May 6, over 250 women attended Women United's 10th annual Power of the Purse. This fundraiser supports Women United's mission to increase the self-sufficiency of women to improve their lives, the lives of their family and the community as a whole. This year was a record breaking year in both attendance and dollars raised. Women United will be distributing over $28,750 raised at the event to local programs that work with women and children. Thank you to everyone who donated items for the raffles and auction, purchased tickets or bid on items. With your help we will be able to touch the lives of hundreds of people in the community.
