Thank You Make A Difference Day Volunteers

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Rake-a-thon for Make A Difference Day. Over 1000 volunteers helped rake and bag leaves for more than 130 elderly or disabled residents who aren't able to do this chore themselves. One Wausau resident wrote us after the event saying, "I am on oxygen 24/7 and now am unable to rake my yard.  A friend told me about your program and I signed up.  The group was polite and mindful of my property and did such a good job even my neighbor phoned and said my yard looked wonderful. Thank you SO very much for allowing me to utilize this program.  It means more to me than you’ll know."
