Census Count

Count me in cdszxzxcv.jpgUnited Way Worldwide and 211 are a part of the Census Counts Coalition.  This year you can respond by mail, phone or online. Encourage your friends and family to pledge to be counted by texting PLEDGE to 211-211 to receive information about the 2020 Census.
 
Census data is used to determine where schools, roads, hospitals, childcare centers, senior centers and other services will be built and billions of federal government resources will be distributed.  It also is used to determine the number of Congressional Seats and redistricting of all levels of government.
 
Important Dates:
 
March 12, 2020 an invitation to respond online to the 2020 Census will be sent via mail or paper questionnaires.
 
April 27, 2020 a final reminder postcard will be sent before Census workers follow up in person.
