COVID-19 Community Response Fund

Main imageThe Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin and United Way of Marathon County continue to address the needs of local nonprofits through the COVID-19 Community Response Fund. As of April 30, 2020 $244,800 has been invested directly back to the area. With the Community Foundation covering all administrative fees, 100% of your donation is being invested directly back into the community.

Community support, generous people, businesses and organizations have allowed the two organizations to provide flexible funding for organizations who are disproportionately impacted by the coronavirus and the economic consequences of the outbreak. It is this support that has allowed for 33 grants to be funded in the areas of childcare, food security & basic needs, shelter/rent & utility assistance, legal assistance, access to medical care and education/youth services.

The fund has raised over $316,515. Click here to view a complete list of donors.
