Reading Buddies

Reading Buddies is a United Way project that connects Volunteers with students who need a little extra help in reading and this year it ended abruptly with the closing of schools.  We would like to celebrate the end of the year totals and look forward to next year. From October 2019 to March of 2020 twenty-nine volunteers read to students at 4 local elementary schools including Edgar, Marathon, Mosinee and Rothschild schools. 2,100 books were read to students over 433 volunteer hours.  If you are interested in joining this volunteer opportunity next school year, please email kmischo@unitedwaymc.org.
