One of the biggest barriers to reading for young children is the lack of books of their own. United Way's Ready to Read distributes thousands of books to children in our area. Donate new or gently used children’s books to United Way of Marathon County's
Book Drive. Donate books May 10 - June 4 at Peoples State Bank - Marathon County locations, and Associated Bank - Stewart Ave, Downtown and Weston locations. Shop local at Janke Book Store and purchase new books to donate! Books can also be donated directly to United Way of Marathon County during June 8 - 9, 2021. *The most needed books are board books for early readers age 0-3.*
