Annual Meeting

Please join us for the Virtual Annual Meeting on January 25, 2022, at 4:00 p.m.
 
This 30-minute meeting will include updates from the past year, the election of board members, and announcement of our Sweepstakes Winners!

Sweepstakes Winners Announced Soon

This year, winners will be announced to the public at the Annual Meeting.  Prizes include local gift cards from Jim Kryshak Jewelers, Crossroads County Market, Kwik Trip, Grebe's, Shepherd and Schaller, Janke Book Store, Sam's Pizza, Evolutions In Design, The Milk Merchant, and Briq's Soft Serve.

MLK Jr. Day of Service

United Way of Marathon County and the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program volunteers (RSVP) will make a community impact for those in need during this day of service. 

More than 40 volunteers will participate in four activities that will serve hundreds in our community.  Volunteers will pack kits on Monday, January 17, 2022, that are being distributed to women utilizing the Career Closet at United Way of Marathon County, clients at The Women’s Community, area high school students participating in Career Classes, Catholic Charities Warming Center, and our new Afghan Refugee Neighbors. On Tuesday, January 18, 2022, volunteers will pack backpacks for students through Blessings in a Backpack.

211 recently was approved for Re-Accreditation by Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS). United Way of Marathon County is asking for your opinion about social issues and charitable giving in Marathon County. This survey is anonymous, and your confidentiality will be maintained, as the results will be tabulated by Perspectives Consulting Group, Inc., an independent research firm. The individual surveys will not be seen by anyone outside Perspectives Consulting Group, Inc. Community Survey will be available on January 17, 2022 through January 28, 2022.
