Happy first week of May.  Stop by our booth at the Business Expo on May 12 from 11am-6pm, Central WI Convention & Expo Center,  and build a Calm Kit for a student.  Calming Kits have sensory items that assist with mind breaks and mental health awareness. These will be assembled, thanks to a great partnership with Ruder Ware, our LIVE UNITED award-winning company. Youth mental health is an area of concern in our county, and this is a small way you can be involved in creating change and impact in a student's life.   Stop by and say hello. 

Power of the Purse

This event is back and in-person Thursday, June 9, 2022, from 5-8 pm at the Hilton Garden Inn, Wausau. The evening will be fun with a live auction featuring vacation packages, experiences, and of course PURSES. Power of the Purse has celebrated over a decade of events benefiting local programs such as Childcaring Inc., Christmas for Mommies and Project Step-Up. Week of Action

Join this global effort to activate volunteers and make a HUGE impact! United Way is looking for non-profit organizations in Marathon County to join us in Week of Action, June 20-25. Do you need regular volunteers or maybe you have wish list items that you haven’t been able to get to like landscaping or painting interior walls?  Community members can sign-up for the opportunities of their choosing.

 **Virtual Get Connected Training ** will be held Monday, May 16th from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. Learn how this site is for agencies to share their volunteer and in-kind needs.
