Location:
Spencer Kids Group – 117 E Clark St, Spencer, WI 54479
(Detailed instructions will be emailed to volunteers before the event)

What You'll Do:
Help bring clothing—and dignity—to local families by volunteering with United Way of Marathon County’s Mobile Closet at Spencer Kids Group! Volunteers will:

  • Unload and set up the Mobile Closet truck and display racks

  • Assist guests as they browse and select free clothing

  • Keep the space tidy and welcoming throughout the event

  • Help pack up and reload the truck after the event

Why It Matters:
Access to clean, comfortable clothing is a basic need that many families struggle to meet. Your time and support help ensure every guest is treated with dignity while stretching family budgets and supporting United Way’s bold goal to lift 10,000 community members to financial stability by 2033.

What to Expect:

  • This opportunity includes moving things outdoors - please dress appropriately for the weather

  • Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes

  • Bring a refillable water bottle and a helpful attitude

Volunteer Shift:
August 5 | 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM
(Shopping will take place during the event window)

Who Can Volunteer?
Individuals 18 and older are welcome. Volunteers between the ages of 12 and 18 may participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
