30 Seconds Away: Breaking the Cycle

30 Seconds Away: Breaking the Cycle, a documentary film directed by Faith Kohler, takes a look at chronic homelessness in Milwaukee, WI.  The film focuses on the intersection of chronically homeless men, the impact of addiction and mental health, and the Milwaukee justice system. Following the film showing there will be facilitated small group discussions to look at how lessons learned in urban Milwaukee can be applied to the current homeless crisis in rural Wisconsin.

Location:  NTC Center for Health Sciences Auditorium (Dave Obey building), 1000 W Campus Dr, Wausau

The film screening will also be open to students and community members at NTC's regional locations at Phillips, Medford, Spencer, and Antigo.

Date and Times: Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016.  1:00 pm and 5:30 pm.
