CommUnity Fest Fills a Semi with Food

IMG_1457.JPG The fourth annual CommUnity Fest resulted in a semi load of food for area food pantries.  Local companies and organizations built food sculptures, created fun kids' activities, and brought in big trucks, trailers and tractors for kids to explore during this year's event on September 24.  Over 12,000 pounds of food and approximately $2000 will help local pantries meet the need for food in the coming months. Companies competed for a variety of awards and bragging rights.  A panel of judges selected the award winners:

Best New Entry:  Associated Bank

Best Children's Theme:  People's State Bank

Most Interactive:  Aspirus

Best Use of Protein:  Sun Printing

Most Nutritious % of Total Volume:  Associated Bank

MEGA Sculpture:  People's State Bank

Best of Show:  Greenheck Corp.

People's Choice Award:  EO Johnson Business Technologies

Door Prize Winners:
