Career Closet Launches Boots to Work

Boots to Work is a new project of United Way Career Closet.  Individuals who have an offer of work that requires steel-toed footwear often are unable to afford the boots/shoes they need to start a new job.  Local Job Service staff, Human Resource departments and other organizations can refer clients to the Boots to Work program.  With an authorized voucher, Boots to Work will provide one pair of new or gently used steel-toed footwear.  And, if you have a pair of boots that you no longer need, please consider donating them to Boots to Work.
