United Way, and most other non-profits in our community, couldn't do the work we do without the hundreds of people who volunteer every year. Here at United Way, we have been tracking the number of volunteers and the number of hours they donate for several years. It's amazing to think that our volunteers contribute the equivalent time of 7 full time employees. April 23-29 is National Volunteer Week, a time to celebrate and honor those who keep our non-profit community running. If you are a volunteer, THANK YOU! If you know a volunteer, be sure to thank them too.
