Volunteers Needed for Point in Time Count

HHC.pngEvery January and July, volunteers with the Housing and Homelessness Coalition conduct a homelessness count in the great Wausau area. Those numbers help provide a snapshot of the number of people who are homeless in our community. Volunteers are needed to assist with the count on January 24, 2018. Volunteers will work in teams during the late evening/early morning hours to look for individuals without shelter.

The Point in Time Count will be followed by Project Connect on January 25 at the Salvation Army. Any individual who is homeless or who is having challenges meeting their basic needs is encourage to attend. Many non-profit agencies will be on hand to provide information and services.
