Join United Way RSVP for our Holiday Coffee Hour on Tuesday, December 5 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Marathon County Historical Society, located at 410 McIndoe St. in Wausau. Come to learn, socialize and enjoy the goodies from Sweet Dreams Bakery. Learn how the Historical Society is preserving Marathon County’s history, educating the community and involving volunteers. The program will end with an insider tour of the Historical Society, their exhibits and tour of the Yawkey House. There are currently two exhibits to view which are “Our Stories - The History of Marathon County”, and “Rural Electrification of Marathon County”. You can also enjoy a free tour of the Yawkey House which is decorated for the holidays. The RSVP Coffee Hours are always free and open to the public. So bring a friend of any age and enjoy the spirit of the holidays.
