211 Day

Main imageA big thank you to the 211 team members who helped thousands of people connect with essential services during the pandemic. Day and night, the team members at 211 talk to people who are scared, frustrated, and confused. And since the start of the pandemic last year, they have served as essential workers, answering calls around the clock and helping more people than ever before.

Last year, locally, 211 team members, fielded more than 5,680 calls, connecting struggling people with essential resources to solve their health care, housing, and food problems. From the first hello, 211 team members offered comfort and hope.  As we approach February 11, which is also 211 Day, join us to thank the 211 team members who helped our community navigate a crisis with compassion. You can also support their critical work with a donation to United Way, ensuring that these heroes can keep up the good work.
